Masaki Hagino
Masaki Hagino hatte 2018 beim jurierten Förderpreis für gegenständliche Kunst des Bodenseekreises drei Arbeiten eingereicht. Seine Wachsmalereien waren uns sofort ins Auge gefallen ... und nicht nur uns. Als wir den frischgebackenen Absolventen und Einserkandidaten der Akademie Burg Giebichenstein (Halle) zu einer Ausstellung im Frühjahr 2019 nach Ravensburg einluden, kam Masaki mit seinem kleinen Hund angereist und signierte noch die letzten Arbeiten. Ein nächstes Treffen mit dem Künstler fand in Amsterdam statt, wohin er seinen Lebensmittelpunkt für wenige Jahre verlegt hatte. Inzwischen lebt Masaki Hagino wieder in Japan, hält regelmäßig Vorträge und arbeitet u.a. an seiner neuen Bilderserie "A study of the relationship between subjectivitiy, time and memory. Kleinere Formate dieser neuen Serie werden in unserer Winterausstellung 2023-24 gezeigt.
